Overview
Car Motion Sickness Aid is an Android app that draws motion cues on screen to ease car sickness. It works entirely on your device and has no internet permission. This policy explains, in plain terms, what that means in practice.
Information we collect
None. Car Motion Sickness Aid does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, device identifiers, or usage information. It has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no backend server to send data to.
Motion sensors
The app reads your device's accelerometer and gyroscope to move the cues. These readings are used live and are never stored or sent anywhere. Your settings, such as cue style and color, are saved only on your device.
Vehicle detection (optional)
If you turn on automatic start and stop, Car Motion Sickness Aid uses Activity Recognition from Google Play services to tell when you get into or out of a vehicle. This detection happens on your device. The app uses it only to start or stop the cues and does not store or share it.
Permissions
Car Motion Sickness Aid asks only for the Android permissions it needs: to draw over other apps (for the cues), to run a foreground service and show a notification while the cues are on, and, if you turn on automatic start, physical activity recognition and permission to restart that detection after your device reboots. It has no internet permission, so none of these can be used to send data off your device.
Third-party services
Car Motion Sickness Aid does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs. The only third-party component it uses is Google Play services' on-device Activity Recognition, and only if you turn on automatic start.
Children's privacy
Car Motion Sickness Aid is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age — it does not collect information from anyone at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a revised effective date above. Continued use of Car Motion Sickness Aid after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
